One hour of Jet boating on the Shotover and Kawarau Rivers

Board the big yellow Jet boat for high speed thrills and breathtaking scenery on the Kawarau and Shotover Rivers.

From the Main Town Pier in the centre of Queenstown you'll speed across Lake Wakatipu to the lake's only known outlet.

Dropping into the williow lined Kawarau River there's time and space for lots of 360 degree Hamilton spins before you head through the confluence of two rivers and into the narrow braids of the Shotover River.

The adventure continues as your driver races up the shallow channels at speeds of up to 85kph/50mph in water often less than 5cm/2in deep.

When you return to the Main Town Pier you’ll descend beneath the lakes surface to view the Underwater Observatory where you can feed the fish that thrive close to the shore. Photos from your trip can be purchased here as mementos of your unique Jet boat adventure.
