Your visit to Queenstown just wouldn’t be complete without a visit to the World Home of Bungy. Located only 20 minutes drive from Queenstown this is where commercial Bungy started back in 1988, thanks to the Bungy Pioneers Henry Van Ash and AJ Hackett.

Since then this historic site has evolved into a world class visitor destination. So whether you’re a hardcore adventure seeker or after something a little more relaxing the Kawarau Bungy Centre -  World Home of Bungy -  has something to offer people of  all ages.

Come view Bungy from our large decks nestled into the rock face over the Kawarau River or shop for gifts and mementos at the Bungy Shop.
