Historic Stone House
The Stone House combines old-style charm with modern comforts and, along with warm and friendly hospitality, Steve and Jo Weir offer guests their local knowledge of Queenstown’s adventure and sightseeing activities.
Each of the four guestrooms has its own bathroom, either ensuite within the room or private just outside. Bathrobes, hairdryers and direct-dial telephones are provided and beds are all king-sized and feature crisp cotton sheets, feather pillows and down duvets.
The famous Stone House breakfast with daily-changing cooked selection is a great way to start the day, and each evening Steve and Jo host drinks, offering complimentary New Zealand chardonnay and a range of cheeses. Situated in the garden you’ll find the hot tub, surrounded by flowers and perfectly located for star-gazing beneath the southern night sky.
Central Queenstown is an easy walk away, but off-street car parking is available. And if you’re worried you’ll miss your pets, feline co-hosts Baz and Lump enjoy meeting guests and will make you feel as if you’re right at home.
