Set in just over an acre of beautifully manicured gardens with trees, shrubs and a pond, it overlooks Lake Hayes and is uniquely positioned to take in views of both the Remarkables mountain range and Coronet Peak. It’s less than a thirty-minute drive to both ski areas and is situated between the bustling CBD of Queenstown and historic Arrowtown. Lake Hayes is just across the road – it’s a popular spot for picnics, water sports, walking and biking.
The main building features a living and dining area with a pitched ceiling and expansive views of the surrounding mountains and lake. Perfect for evening entertaining, this area adjoins a generously-sized open plan kitchen with everything you need to cook up a feast including a separate butler’s pantry/scullery. Through sliding doors, there’s an outdoor BBQ area with seating and a small foot bath – perfect for alfresco dining and entertaining!
The snug has a cosy seating arrangement, Freeview TV and Google Chromecast, and a log burner which heats the whole home. Next to the snug, there’s a study which takes in views of the garden and beyond; this space can also be used as an extra sleeping area that’s perfect for kids.
Two queen-sized bedrooms share a separate shower room and toilet. Both rooms are spoiled for wardrobe space and have long, built-in vanity tables. The master bedroom is a real show-stopper, complete with a super king-sized bed, plentiful wardrobe space, a magnificent mirror and an ensuite bathroom with a large shower, twin sinks and a free-standing bath tub. Sliding glass doors in the master bedroom lead to a private patio area that’s great for watching glorious sunsets.
This property also features a self-contained cosy cottage with exposed beams and comfortable furnishings. There’s a -king sized bed, a toilet and shower room, a dining area and an equipped kitchen with a stove top, washing machine and fridge.
