Recently completed, the Remarkables View Eco House is a stylish new house that is also energy efficient and eco-friendly.
The evolution series house was built using materials and practices that reduce energy consumption, and the fittings, including light and heating, are all energy efficient. It still has the comforts you would expect from an alpine house: underfloor heating, a gas fire, six heat pumps and a solar powered water heater.
There are four bedrooms, one downstairs and three upstairs, and floor to ceiling windows looking over Lake Wakatipu and The Remarkables.
