The club's course occupies the Kelvin Heights peninsula, with Lake Wakatipu on three sides of it and the Remarkables behind. It plays as a par 72 for men and 73 for women, and nine-hole rounds are priced separately if you are short of time.
Visitors are welcome. Green fees run $200 for 18 holes and $100 for nine over the high season, 1 October to 30 April, dropping to $110 and $65 through winter. Players affiliated to a New Zealand club pay less. Book a tee time through the pro shop on (03) 442 9169.
The club is at 759 Peninsula Road, about twenty minutes around the lake from town.
The nine-hole course and driving range out at Frankton are a separate facility — Frankton Golf Centre, run by the district council on the corner of Kawarau Road and State Highway 6.
