Queenstown's original bike shop on Brecon Street: rental fleet, workshop, daily trail shuttles and a heli bike drop on the Remarkables.
Four Brecon Street, by the gondola, and trading since 1999 — this is the shop most Queenstown riders end up in. Hire, workshop, and Santa Cruz and Airdrop bikes on the floor. The useful part for visitors is that they also run the transport that gets you to the trails.
Shuttles
Runs leave at 8.30am and 12.30pm daily, minimum two riders, up to the alpine single track above town — Skippers Canyon, Rude Rock, the Zoot Trail — and out to points on the Queenstown Trails.
Heli bike
A flight over the Remarkables to a drop near the top of Ben Cruachan, just under 2,000m, then about 18km down: open rolling ridgeline, alpine single track, and a rough 4WD road out into the Gibbston Valley, roughly 1,500m of descent. Private groups of four or more, and it runs November to April.
Hire and workshop
The rental fleet runs from downhill rigs for the bike park through to trail bikes, and the workshop handles repairs and servicing.
