The corner store that served this neighbourhood in the 1920s is now a 13-room boutique hotel, these days run by Naumi Hotels as The Dairy Hotel Queenstown, A Naumi Chapter.
It sits at 21 Brecon Street, on the old Brecon and Isle Streets corner — a two-minute walk downhill to the town centre, with the Skyline gondola base practically next door. Rooms are individually designed and the rate includes breakfast.
