Halal Indian restaurant in Five Mile with tandoori seekh kebab, jalfrezi and vindaloo curries, plus prawn Malabari and fish masala. Fully licensed, no BYO.
Boliwood serves halal-certified Indian food at the Five Mile centre in Frankton, with a second restaurant on Shotover Street in central Queenstown.
Start with vegetable samosas or pakoras, or the seekh kebab — marinated lamb finished in the tandoor. The mains cover the staples, jalfrezi to korma, kadai and vindaloo, with a choice of lamb, chicken or beef, a good run of vegetarian curries, and seafood dishes like prawn Malabari and fish masala.
The dining room has space for a group, and there is online ordering for takeaway. Boliwood is fully licensed, with no BYO.
