Founded in 2015 by Malcolm and Meron Blakey, Cargo Brewery & Kitchen serve up a selection of tasty craft beers, from aromatic gold lager, citrus-laden pale ale and creamy porter, to their hand-crafted IPA and smooth pilsner.
Whilst Malcolm crafted his perfect pint, Meron (a chef by trade) took on the challenge of creating a fresh and innovative menu. With the wealth of Otago’s produce at her fingertips, Meron showcases the best local ingredients from artisan farmers and growers. Her menu changes with the seasons, offering dishes packed with flavour and of uncompromising quality.
Located within the stunning Waitiri Creek vineyard, inside a historic church built in the gold mining era, Cargo is proud to also serve the neighbouring Waitiri Creek wines. Enjoy a unique tasting experience at Cargo Brewery & Kitchen with their micro-brewery opening Summer 2018.

Everyday 11am - 5pm
