Evoque is a family-friendly cafe and bar at Remarkables Park in Frankton, with floor-to-ceiling glass looking straight out at the Remarkables. Close to the airport and the shopping centre, it makes an easy stop before a flight or after a morning on the hill — open daily, 7.30am to 6pm.
Breakfast runs from a full Kiwi fry-up to a loaded brekkie burrito, pancakes, granola and avocado smash. Lunch adds steak and fries, seafood chowder, fish fritters and a line-up of brioche-bun burgers — the brunch burger covers anyone not ready to leave breakfast behind. Coffee, beer on tap and local wines round it out.
