Provisions sits in a historic miner's cottage at the far end of Buckingham Street, with a garden to eat in when the weather allows.
Everything is made on the premises — the sourdough, focaccia and bagels, the pies, cakes and gingerbread, and the sticky buns the place is known for. It is fully licensed, pours Allpress coffee and Central Otago wine, and sells its award-winning range of preserves and baking to take home.
The doors open at 8am daily and food runs until 3pm, with the cafe open until 4pm.
