Stratosfare sits at the top of the Skyline Gondola on Bob's Peak, so getting there is half of it: the ride up from Brecon Street, then Queenstown Bay, Lake Wakatipu and the surrounding mountains laid out below the windows.
The format is buffet, lunch and dinner. New Zealand produce leads — fresh seafood, locally sourced meats, seasonal vegetarian dishes, and a dessert bar that does most of the persuading. Vegetarian and gluten-free options are marked.
