‘The Vault’ at Gibbston Tavern is made from parts of the hotel's old vault, where patrons from the gold rush days would keep their gold locked away for safe-keeping. These days, it stashes intense heat to transform delicious dough and seasonal ingredients into sizzling pizzas with a flavour that’s good as gold.
Devour a vegetarian pizza with pine nuts and feta, a ‘from the coop’ roast chicken and basil pesto pizza or ‘from the coast’ with shrimp and apricot chutney. On the bar menu, there’s also a delicious selection of burgers, chicken wings and a cheese board featuring local cheeses.
