Sorry but we don't yet have a date for the 2010 marathon.
From the Queenstown Marathon website:
"Thank you for your enquiry regarding the 2007 Queenstown marathon. At this time the event has been postponed to a date to be determined. We are hoping this will be sometime late in the third quarter of this year. The new date will be posted once it has been decided."
The marathon and 10km events will start on Beach Street opposite Earnslaw Park in central Queenstown.
The marathon and 10km proceed up Beach Street turning right into Camp Street, then left into Ballarat Street, right into Stanley Street, right into Coronation Drive and left into Sydney Street.
At the intersection with Frankton Road the course then veers right heading out of Queenstown on Frankton Road.
The marathon proceeds out on the Frankton Ladies Mile (SH6) around the southern end of Lake Hayes until reaching the Lake Hayes Recreational Area where the course diverts through a 400m section of gravel road before joining the Arrowtown Lake Hayes Road heading towards Arrowtown.
Upon reaching Malaghans Road, the marathon route turns left proceeding to the turnaround point near the entrance to the Millbrook Resort.
The marathon then heads back to Queenstown on the same route until reaching the marina midway along Frankton Road where competitors will be directed down onto the Frankton Arm Track which continues to the commencement of Park Street.
The course goes along Park Street entering the Queenstown Gardens - descending down onto Marine Parade along the lake edge to the finish line on the Steamer Wharf.
The turnaround for the 10km event is located midway along Frankton Road at which point participants will be directed back towards Queenstown on the Frankton Arm Track until reaching Park Street.

The half marathon starts in Ramshaw Lane in Arrowtown proceeding out of Arrowtown via the Arrowtown Lake Hayes Road, Frankton Ladies Mile Highway, Frankton Road - onto the Frankton Arm Track near the marina midway Frankton Road continuing until Park Street.
The course goes along Park Street entering the Queenstown Gardens - descending down onto Marine Parade and back to the finish line on the Steamer Wharf.
