Urzila Carlson is a multi-award winning comic. Originally from South Africa, Urzila has been making New Zealand audiences laugh since 2008. She’s well known for her appearances on TV shows like 7 Days, Super City and Road Madness.
Her show 'Studies Have Shown' asks why scientists are being so much to find out ridiculous notions like 'your dog is happier than your cat' and that plants can feel pain. Urzila also suggests what they should be studying instead; like what happens to your blood pressure when your kids keep getting out of bed when you’ve tucked them in twenty f***ing times already?!
