Friendly service, great craic and just 11,554 miles away from Ireland.
Póg Mahone's has been the Irish heart of Queenstown since 1998. The Kiwi and Irish owners wanted a truly authentic Irish atmosphere, so had the entire pub designed and built in Ireland, then shipped over. It’s your little slice of Ireland next to the Southern Alps.
The food is a blend of classic Kiwi and Irish cuisine. Try the signature beef and Guinness pie, the hearty Irish stew or tuck into something from the stone grill. Burgers, pasta dishes and fresh salads feature on this varied menu too. There’s certainly something for everyone.
Stick around after your meal and enjoy a range of Kiwi and Irish beers, fine Irish whiskeys and local wines. You might be lucky enough to catch an impromptu seisún (a session of singing and swapping tunes).
