Arrowtown always looks gorgeous in autumn, the trees turn red, gold and orange and to celebrate, the town hosts the Akarua Arrowtown Autumn Festival.
An annual event since 1985, it hosts a variety of events from the great Arrowtown Party to the NZ Gold Panning Championships and the Pie, Pinot and Pint event. The famous Market Day and Parade will be held this year on Saturday 22nd April 2017.
