Shotover River

The Shotover river is action packed and provides a unique showcase for Extreme Green's rafting adventures including 10 rapids and culminating in rafting through the 170m Oxenbridge Tunnel.

White water rafting on the Shotover River is graded 3 - 5, depending on river levels.

The trip takes 4 - 5 hours and includes:

  • Transfer to and from rafting base
  • Change into full rafting equipment
  • Transfer to raft put in situated in Skippers Canyon

Kawarau River

The Kawarau River is New Zealand's largest commercially rafted river including the "Chinese Dogleg" rapid, providing one of the biggest white water rides in New Zealand.
