Queenstown Winter Festival 2017 is on its way!
The Southern Hemisphere's ultimate winter party has been a huge success for over 30 years. Attracting locals and international visitors alike, it's a celebration of Queenstown, our community and all the things that make our beautiful mountain home so unique.
The four-day festival is jam-packed with wonderful, weird and wintery events and there's something for everyone in this year's programme. The festival was first staged in 1975 by Queenstowners who thought the arrival of snow was a great excuse for a party. Its now an iconic event on New Zealand's festival calendar, attracting more than 60,000 attendees.
