Wild Rice is on the first floor at Steamer Wharf, so the tables look out across the lake and down onto the wharf. The cooking is Thai — curries, stir-fries and grilled meats, the familiar dishes done properly rather than reinvented — and the room is modern rather than themed.
It suits either end of the day: lunch between wharf wanders, or dinner before or after a cruise from the pier below. Open every day, 11am to 2.30pm and again from 5.30pm to 10pm.
Worth booking in summer and over the ski season, when the wharf fills up early.
